When the last factory in a small Rust Belt town closes, an unlikely hero emerges. Against the advice of his wife, a career employee forms a friendship with his neighbor in order to revive the defunct factory.

George Lopez plays an assembly-line worker who brings a blue-collar outlook to a white-collar job when he is promoted to management. His best friend and mother both work at the factory and George's home life is his loving wife, kids and his not-so-loving mother.
